Individual Clients

I provide notarial services for individuals who need documents to be recognised abroad. Below is an overview of the types of work I commonly undertake.

Certified copies of personal documents

 Examples include:

  • passports, driving licences and other photo ID documents

  • academic qualifications and transcripts

  • immigration and residency documents

Important: UK birth, marriage and death certificates are official documents issued by the General Register Office. In most cases, these documents do not require notarisation. Please see the FAQs for further guidance.

Powers of attorney for use abroad

I notarise powers of attorney for use overseas, including:

  • personal and family matters

  • property and financial matters

  • legal and administrative purposes

Family documentation for use abroad

Examples include:

  • parental consent for travel

  • adoption and related documents

Affidavits, sworn statements and statutory declarations

Examples include:

  • statutory declaration

  • affidavits and sworn statements for use abroad

  • declaration of marital status

  • declaration of identity

Land Registry identity verification

Forms ID1, ID2 and ID5 may require identity verification by a notary where property transactions are completed without a solicitor acting for the party.

Before the appointment, I will review the documents and any instructions you have received and advise on the correct notarial steps.
